The top talents in world football were on show on Monday night in Milan for The Best Fifa Football Awards 2019 ceremony.
Football's elite descended on the fashion capital of Italy as Fifa once again celebrated another year of drama and achievement in the beautiful game.
Megan Rapinoe was named the Best Women's Player, beating USA international team-mate Alex Morgan, who matched her in scoring six times during the summer's tournament in France, and England's Lucy Bronze, who was the Silver Ball winner at the World Cup.
Lionel Messi was named the Best Men's Player, beating Cristiano Ronaldo and Virgil van Dijk.
Messi has had another 12 months to celebrate but again found the game's top prizes out of his reach. Barcelona won La Liga once again as Messi was the top scorer across Europe and provided the most assists in Spain's top flight.
