A recycling wrangle is brewing, as more coffee is being made using pods than ground beans or instant than ever before. Designer Eason Chow Wai Tung is working on a packaging-free solution using sugar-coated capsules that dissolve into hot water. But until this happens, here are the most eco-friendly coffee pods, for a shot of conscience
1. Cru Kafe
These London-based coffeepreneurs are constantly working to minimise the footprint left on the planet, with biodegradable packaging and no chemicals in the organic coffee. Compostable pods are due to launch later this year.
