I came across a new anti-ageing factoid recently – just as I’m turning 30. It said that as well as laughter lines and crow’s feet, we’re now suffering from “tech neck”: an extra furrow which results from spending so much time on our smartphones. Yes, I know– another thing to worry about. But our constant downward gaze has even led to an increase in demand for treatments and surgery. Normal folk, of course, might choose to buy a neck cream. There’s an overwhelming array in the shops and the best ones, I’ve found, are fairly pricey. I’m using YSL’s Youth Liberator Y-Shape Crème (£65, houseoffraser.co.uk), which has made my skin exceptionally smooth. I almost feel 29 again.
