Best mattress deals for August 2025, from Simba to Eve

Dreaming of a better night’s sleep? You’ve come to the right place. If you’ve been sleeping on an uncomfortable mattress for too long, or frankly, it has seen better days, I’ve handpicked the best mattress deals from the likes of Simba, Eve Sleep, Hypnos and more.

As The Independent’s resident sleep expert, who has tried and tested all the best mattresses, I make it my mission to bring you the very best offers on all sizes and types of mattresses all year round.

Mattresses are essential purchases but often come with a hefty price tag and require a little research to figure out which one will suit your sleep needs. Whether you’re after a hybrid, pocket-sprung or memory foam model, I’ve got you covered.

Keep scrolling for discounts on some of my favourite tried-and-tested brands, with mattress savings to snap up right now.

Why you can trust us to find the best mattress deals

The IndyBest team of shopping experts have been covering sales events for many years. As a sleep expert, I track the price of mattresses year-round and know how to spot a good deal from a bad one, and I will only ever recommend a discount on a tried and tested brand. I’ve been researching the best mattress brands and testing a whole host of different options in my guide to the best, so I’m personally recommending the ones that I think are worth your money.

Best mattress deals for August 2025:

Simba hybrid mattress, double: Was £799, now £639, Mynextmattress.com

(Simba)

You can save £160 on this double mattress from Simba if you buy it from MyNextMattress. It comes IndyBest-approved and was named our best mattress for edge-to-edge support. In my review, I praised it for its six layers of “pure comfort”, with a middle layer that provides “just the right amount of a bounce” and a top layer that’s “soft, breathable and hypoallergenic”.

Simba earth apex mattress, double: Was £1,999.99, now £1,799.99, Bensonsforbeds.com

(Simba)

Simba’s marketing makes a lot of the “natural” materials in its earth apex mattress, which uses cashgora goat wool and silk. Thankfully, it lives up to the marketing. In my review – where I named it the best mattress for back pain – I found “one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever tested”. Right now, you can save £200 when you buy the earth apex from Bensonsforbeds, instead of directly from Simba, with a 10 per cent discount automatically applied at checkout.

Premier Inn mattress 2.0, king: Was £799, now £719, Premierinnathome.com

(Premier Inn)

If you want to bring a bit of hotel luxury to your bedroom at home, you can currently save 10 per cent on the Premier Inn mattress 2.0. In my review of the original version, which I named the best mattress for side sleepers, I wrote that its temperature-regulating material “kept me cool in the summer and cosy on colder nights”. I also found that I was easily able to get into a comfortable position without any pressure on my hips and shoulders. Although this is a small 10 per cent discount, it’s one that doesn’t come around very often.

Otty hybrid mattress, double: Was £674.99, now £599.99, Otty.com

(Otty)

If you’re looking for a supportive mattress, this could be the one for you. In tester Eleanor’s review of Otty’s hybrid mattress, she said it “undoubtedly falls on the firmer end” of the scale, describing it as a “great all-rounder that most people will find comfortable”. It’s available from Otty with a £75 discount. However, if you forgo the discount, you’ll get two of its deluxe pure pillows included instead. These typically cost £70 to buy separately.

Eve Sleep the original mattress, double: Was £649, now £389, Evesleep.co.uk

(Eve Sleep)

If you’ve been on the lookout for a fully memory foam mattress, the original mattress from Eve Sleep has 40 per cent off in all sizes at the moment. With medium-firm support and three layers of foam, plus a moisture-wicking top cover to stop you from getting too warm or clammy, it also comes with a 200-night trial so you have plenty of time to see if it’s right for you.

Hypnos pillow top elite mattress, double: Was £3,390, now £2,435.25, Mattressman.co.uk

(Hypnos)

Hypnos supplies mattresses to hotels, including Soho House and The Corinthia, and it even supplies the royal family, so it’s fair to say the luxury brand doesn’t come cheap. But now, you can save nearly 25 per cent on this IndyBest-approved model with the discount code COOL15. “The depth (31cm) means there are lots of layers of comfort here, including a pocket-spring system, which aids weight distribution to provide edge-to-edge support and helps to encourage better spinal alignment,” I found when reviewing it. The soft pillow top is “supportive and feels like a gentle hug.”
