The best bottomless brunches in Nottingham

Brunch has become big business in Nottingham. The trend has rocketed over the last couple of years especially at weekends.

It's not surprising. Served at a more civilised time of day, it's the perfect excuse for a lazy catch-up with friends or family.

And if it happens to be bottomless with unlimited drinks, well you don't hear anyone complaining.

Copper City

Sunday brunch couldn't be more flexible at the city centre cafe. Served from 9am to 5pm it works for early birds and late risers.

The surroundings are spacious and stylish, and the atmosphere chilled, just as it should be on a Sunday morning.

The menu covers everything from a full English to Eggs Benedict and steak and eggs to kedgeree.

Go bottomless for £20 per person, with unlimited prosecco, bellini. mimosa, Bloody Mary or Pimm's for 90 minutes.

Das Kino

For a boozy brunch with added value - ie. a drag queen and unlimited pizza - these Saturday afternoon shenanigans could quite possibly be the ultimate bottomless experience.

Now That's What I Call Brunch consists of two hours of free-flowing prosecco and disco cocktails, Drag Queen bingo and games hosted by Kitty Tray, unlimited sourdough pizza and the best and worst music from the last 30 years.

Get your mates together and head there, 12.30pm to 3.30pm. It's yours for £39.95 per person.

Las Iguanas

Brunch at the lively Latino haunt comes with unlimited prosecco or beer. Or upgrade for an extra fiver to add Mojito and Caipirinha cocktails.

Kick back for an indulgent two hours of indulgent eating and drinking. A starter and main are part of the deal, which runs Friday to Sunday, with prices starting at £24.95.

Get stuck into dishes like huevos diverciados (eggs with chilli salt on tortillas with avocado and salsa), a breakfast burrito or Cuban sandwich with pork belly, pulled pork, Emmental cheese and ham.

Places must be reserved. Time slots are available from 11am to 3pm, Friday and Sunday, and Saturday 11am to 1pm.

Revolucion de Cuba

The drinks will be flowing at the Cuban bar's weekend brunches. Kick off with a mimosa and bruschetta while choosing a main course from a selection of nine dishes which include a full breakfast, a breakfast burrito, Spanish tortilla and chorizo hash.

Fritter away a couple of hours with one of the widest drinks selections for bottomless brunches in town, ranging from Strawberry Daiquiri and Bloody Mary to Spanish shandy and Mahou.

Hourly slots between 11am and 2pm are available on both Saturdays and Sundays, priced £20 to £30 depending on the time.

Belgo

Going bottomless at Belgo means a two course meal and unlimited prosecco, pints of Belgo Pils or Wit, or soft drinks for £30 per person.

Food choices are more brinner (lunch/dinner) than breakfast. We're talking starters of chicken wings, prawns or nachos followed by moules, rotisserie chicken and veggie options from the Taste of Belgo menu.

Tables must be booked in advance. The deal is only available on Tuesdays and Fridays, from noon until closing time.

The Alchemist

The magical, mystical bar has gone for a throwback 1970s themed Le Freak Disco Brunch. Quaff three drinks and a brunch dish for £25 or freak out over 90 minutes with boundless drinks for a further tenner.

Four of the theatrical cocktails are on offer. Marvel over the vodka-fuelled Colour Changing One, which goes from yellow to purple to dusky pink as you pour the drink into a glass smoking with dry ice or get get proper disco inferno giddy over Solid Gold, a combo of Tanqueray cardamom leaf gin and St Germain elderflower. Or keep a clear head with no and low alcohol versions.

The Eat, So Chic menu comes with eggs, bacon, sausages. waffles, avocado and tofu in all the usual guises, from a Full Alchemist to broken omelettes, the American with waffles and, of course, smashed avo and poached egg on sourdough toast.

Served Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 2pm.

All Bar One

Brush up on your brunch skills at the bar, which has a far more chilled vibe on Sunday mornings after buzzing the night before.

For £25, there's limitless prosecco, mimosas and Bloody Marys accompanying dishes of Eggs Benedict, BBQ Chicken, Bacon and Cheese Melt, and handmade beef burgers.

There's just as many veggie options as there are on the main menu and a vegan alternative of a full English.

Two hourly slots are available until 2pm.

Cosy Club

It's not bottomless but it can be boozy at Nottingham's attractive new bar and restaurant. The brunch menu is served all day, every day.

Diners in the rather splendid restaurant can add a glass of prosecco (£6.80) or Bloody Mary (£7.50) to their brunch, be that crumpets and Marmite butter, smoked salmon and scrambled egg or ham hock hash.

Perfect for the lightweights amongst us.
