Australian Dance Theatre’s The Beginning of Nature explores the rhythms of nature. The dance and sound piece follows the patterns of day and night, growth and decay, the tension between the moon and the waves, and the ever-moving system within the human body.

The music was composed by Brendan Woithe, who has also collaborated with South Australian classical group Zephyr Quartet, while the Indigenous singers helped to incorporate the Kaurna language into the score.
