Rhossili Bay

A video of Rhossili Bay in Swansea was featured by a TikTok user, @walkingwithlauren who makes videos of her exploring different parts of Wales which got over 40,000 likes. It featured horses walking along the coastline at sunset, drawing attention to the wild landscape.

People were loving it in the comments section, with one person noting: "I need to go." Someone else said: "No one told me there was horses."

Rhossili Beach has delighted all kinds of visitors who have been lucky enough to pay it a visit, as it has previously been awarded with 2021 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award, and has been described "the supermodel of British beaches" by The Independent, as well as winning accolades from UK Travel Writers and awards for being the best spot to have a picnic, and much more.

Culver Hole

This surreal location was recently featured in a video which got 106,000 likes after being shared by travel and adventure TikToker, @heykeyt. Culver Hole which is in Port Eynon was seen in the clip, as a woman filmed herself climbing up the narrow gap in the cliffs.

This dramatic cave is one only the most intrepid explorer or brave caver can venture into, but it makes for an incredible view. It is also rich with incredible history.

It is thought that the cave was once used for stashing the ill-gotten gains of smugglers in the 1700s, and the story goes that these Robin Hood figures were not hated but welcomed by the local community, and that even the local vicar was in on the action in some instances.

Caerphilly

The iconic town of Caerphilly has also become a popular TikTok spot. It appeared in one video which got 12,000 likes. The video also mentioned Pen Y Fan in the different recommendations for places to visit in South Wales that were given by the TikTok user @megtomos.

And it's no surprise that the pretty town in the Rhymney Valley impresses the likes of tourists on the hunt for somewhere to photograph or record. It's 750-year-old castle sits right by the town centre and is surrounded by glorious views and open spaces- making it extra photogenic.

Pen Y Fan

The highest peak in south Wales, Pen Y Fan is a much-loved spot for tourists and local walkers alike. And now it has become a TikTok sensation, with plenty of videos shared to the platform showing the mountain off in all kinds of weathers.

In one video, posted by @zara_adventures, the mountain is shown with a glowing red sunset behind it- a happy reminder at just how striking South Wales is. It had been watched over 200,000 times, and liked 29,000 times.

Dunraven Bay

You can find the gorgeous Dunraven Bay in Southerndown. Featured in one popular TikTok video recently, the user captioned the footage: "365 sunsets a year, Welsh weather permitting! My favourite place."

People on TikTok were clearly in awe of the stunning seascape, as the clip got over 36,000 likes altogether. One of the people commenting beneath the video noted: "Dude, Wales needs more recognition.

"It’s literally so beautiful."

Ogmore-by-Sea

The beautiful Ogmore-by-Sea has been admired by countless visitors wanting a slice of tranquillity in Wales. Another recent video made by the TikTok user, @heykeyt, who was singing the praises of the impressive coastline but captioning their video, saying: "I wish I'd known about this place in Wales sooner. I'm obsessed."

The stretch of coastline is well known for it's expansive sands and rockpools, and there is plenty else to do around the area with loads of walks to enjoy. And it has even impressed the likes of celebrities coming to stay, including the Love Island star who posted video riding horses in the sea just a few weeks ago.
