'The Beast' punches wall and storms off The Chase in ITV 'hissy fit'

Mark Labbett, AKA The Beast, lost his cool last night on The Chase.

Contestants Ian and Lynn were delighted when they managed to defeat him and bag £30,000.

But The Beast was not happy, storming off the show and punching the set on his way out.

Before losing his temper, Mark had congratulated Lynn and Ian for their efforts.

He told them: "Well played team, you deserve it."

But The Beast then got to his feet, cleared his throat loudly, headed off set and disappeared from shot, taking his anger out on a wall.

Host Bradley Walsh was struggling to contain his giggles, saying: "Wow, he's furious.

"And for those of you who think it's all part of the show, it's not.

"He actually is furious and has stormed off."

Viewers were quick to air their opinions about Mark's tantrum on social media.

One tweeted: "Mark having yet another hissy fit."

And another joked: "Mark, you okay hun?"

A third viewer quipped: "Awww Mark is a bit upset."
