The West Country's 32 best beaches have been revealed by Keep Britain Tidy for 2019.
The charity has announced which beaches across the UK have been awarded Blue Flags in time for the school holiday.
Cleanliness, safety and facilities available were all factors considered by the charity in its search for the best seaside spots, Somerset Live reports.
The awards also looked at which beaches met tough environmental standards.
Eco-friendly features were considered important after research from the organisation revealed 74 per cent of Brits aged under 35 say they are 'triggered' with guilt when they head to the beach and see plastic litter.

In fact, 60 per cent experience 'eco-anxiety' when they see the litter and no sustainable facilities available to dispose of it and as a result 78 per cent said they would avoid visiting a beach without a Blue Flag or Seaside Award.
It seems David Attenborough has played a key role, as more than half of those surveyed admitted the nature guru's documentaries encouraged them to personally clear up discarded litter in what has been dubbed the "Attenborough Effect'.
A blue flag rating can help put people's mind at ease, with 38 per cent saying they would know the water to be clean, while 35 per cent admitted they would feel good about supporting a beach that cares about the environment.
