New drama commissioning boss Ben Stephenson appears to have put aside what some in the industry have seen as the bad old days of Jane Tranter and opened things up. He plans to hold regular "clinics" on Thursday afternoon when, according to Tranter, his "door will always be open" to any indie who wishes to swing by and pitch ideas or basically chew the fat. Sounds a good idea – yes we can!
