The Bay is back on television for the start of series two tonight on Wednesday, January 20.
ITV's popular crime drama, starring Morven Christie, Daniel Ryan and Stephen Tompkinson, is returning to screens with both old and new characters.
Viewers will see the second series pick up where it left off in season one in Morecambe, with DC Lisa Armstrong returning after getting herself a suspension from the police force.
The series overview reads: "After dealing with the repercussions of her actions from last year, DC Lisa Armstrong is given the opportunity to step up when asked to assist a murder investigation in Morecambe."

The second series kicks off on Wednesday, January 20 at 9pm on ITV.
It's made up of six one-hour episodes which will air at the same time each week.

What is episode one about?
As DC Lisa Armstrong returns to Morecambe, a synopsis from ITV reads: "After dealing with the repercussions of her actions from last year, DC Lisa Armstrong is given the opportunity to prove herself when asked to assist a murder investigation in Morecambe.
"Tensions remain high as Lisa struggles to do her job whilst following the orders of her previously lower ranking colleague, Med.
"As the team try to uncover why the victim was targeted, Lisa and her kids are unknowingly stalked by a mysterious figure who has returned with an agenda."
