The new Banksy in Bristol has been covered up in order to protect it after it was vandalised.
The piece of street art has been covered up with a plank of wood, as well as the immediate area being fenced off.
Just two days after the graffiti appeared, the new Banksy in Barton Hill was sprayed over on Saturday (February 15), with someone writing "BCC w*****s" and a poorly drawn heart in pink over it.
Banksy confirmed the new piece of street art was his work at midnight - the start of Valentine's Day - on his official Instagram account and his website.
The man who woke up on his birthday to find the new Banksy artwork on his house has previously said he felt sick it had already been vandalised.
Edwin Simons, who owns the house where the Banksy appeared, said: "It is an absolute shame.
"It makes me feel sick - I have had to step back from it as it upsets me too much.
"I can't go look at it now."
The artwork shows a young child using a slingshot to create what appears to be a firework formed of rose leaves, playing with themes of violence and innocence.
The 67-year-old said a plastic sheet was initially put over the graffiti to protect it - at a cost of £250 - but that was smashed within a few hours.
Mr Simon's daughter Kelly Woodruff said on Saturday the family was devastated, adding they were brainstorming at the moment to decide what the best steps to take next were.
"I just do not get it," she said. "It is there for everyone to enjoy and it has now been spoilt - one individual is spoiling it for everybody.
"It is mindless.
"We are going to work very hard to get it cleaned and protect it."
This piece joins Banksy's other array of famous graffiti pieces throughout Bristol, including The Mild Mild West, Gorilla in a Pink Mask and Well Hung Lover.
The work is expected to bring increased visitors and tourists to the Barton Hill area of Bristol, as people from around the world continue to visit the city where Banksy is from and where so many of his graffiti pieces are on display.
