Arsenal could get the chance to sign Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele in January.
Dembele has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium regularly in recent years and the Gunners may now get the chance to sign him.
As far as Barcelona were concerned, Dembele was up for sale in the now-closed summer window but the 23-year-old refused to move.
According to AS, Manchester United were interested in signing Dembele and Barcelona were keen to sell in order to free up funds to sign Lyon star Memphis Depay.
But despite becoming Barca's seventh-choice winger, Dembele dug his heels in and refused to move, rejecting the Catalan club's please.
Barcelona have been far from impressed by the winger since his 2017 move from Borussia Dortmund worth more than £100million.
A large number of injuries paired with 'lateness and ill-discipline' mean he is no longer wanted at Camp Nou.
And while he didn't secure a move in the summer window, it's reported Barcelona will very much look to ship Dembele out in January.
That could allow Arsenal to secure a cut-price deal for the Frenchman who has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium on a number of occasions.
Though, with Barca president Josep Bartomeu facing a vote of no confidence, a new regime could yet bring a fresh start for the 23-year-old before January comes around.
