The banned items you can't take into Ponty's Big Weekend

After five years away, Ponty's Big Weekend is back at Ynysangharad Park in Pontypridd for a day of Britpop and brand new Welsh talent.

Ocean Colour Scene and The Bluetones, plus locals Buzzard Buuzzard Buzzard and The Pitchforks, will take over the park on  Saturday, August 17.

So, what CAN'T you take into the event?

• Bags larger than an A4 sheet of paper

• Anything that could be considered a weapon. This will be confiscated on entry

• Pyrotechnics such as fireworks, flares or smoke bombs

• Any form of professional audio or visual recording equipment

• Do not take large/golf umbrellas and please refrain from putting up smaller umbrellas during the performance

• Do not bring dogs to the event (with the exception of assistance dogs)

• Do not bring furniture of any kind. This is a fully standing concert as advertised

• Do not bring food and drink into the event

• Do not bring any glass to the event

• Do not take any bottles of perfume in with you

Will there be food for sale?

There will be a choice of food and drink on sale at the park, don't forget you aren't allowed to bring in your own.
