'The bad days are over' - Manchester United fans go wild following latest Erik ten Hag reports

Manchester United fans have been expressing their excitement at reports that Erik ten Hag has reached a 'verbal agreement' with the club to take over as manager.

In a tweet by The Athletic's David Ornstein, he wrote: "Man Utd reach verbal agreement in principle with Erik ten Hag to become next permanent manager. Manchester United will need agreement with Ajax (who are aware) and to finalise contract (up to four years)."

"No announcement until after the Dutch Cup final." The Amsterdam club face PSV Eindhoven in the showpiece match on Sunday, April 17.

MEN Sport revealed recently that Ten Hag was the board's number one choice to become the next manager. He was also interviewed for the role and Ajax are expecting him to leave.

United have been without a permanent manager since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer left last year. Ralf Rangnick has been in charge on a temporary basis since November. Take a look at how fans have responded to the reports below.
