The back to school bargains available in supermarkets right now

It may still be the summer holidays , but we're already a week into August, and it's time to start thinking of going back to school.

The kids may still be enjoying their time off but parents will soon start worrying about getting the dreaded back to school essentials (if they haven't already).

If you're worried about how much it'll cost to kit the kids out in uniform, fear not, we've put together a guide to some of the best bargains around that you can bag right now.

The UK's leading supermarkets have some pretty cheap uniform up for grabs at the moment.

Here's all you need to know.

ALDI

There's some bargains to pick up in ALDI when it comes to uniform.

You can get a pack of two Lily & Dan Jersey Pinafores from as little as £6.99, and they come in a choice of colours including black, navy and grey.

Girls polo shirts are also worth picking up as you can bag a pack of two for as little as £1.75.

Tesco

Tesco are offering some pretty good package deals here.

This includes a two-pack of shirts from £3.50 and a two-pack of trousers from £7.

ASDA

George at ASDA is also selling some bits at decent princes.

If it's girls stuff you're after you can bag a pack of two skirts from £7, but some of them are only available to order online .

Jogging bottoms also start from the bargain price of £4.

Depending on how young your little one is, shoes also come in at a good price starting from as little as £5.

Sainsbury's 

Sainsbury's is throwing away polo shirts at a great price offering a pack of five shirts from only £6.

If it's polo shirts you're after, you can also bag a pack of three stain resistant shirts from £7.

What's more is they're unisex which makes them all the more versitile.

You can also bag some really pretty cardigans for the little ones in Sainsbury's.

A pack of two start at the price of £6 and there are a wide range of colours to select from if you have kids between the ages of three and 12.

Marks and Spencer

If you're not a fan of ironing, Marks and Spencer may have answered your back to school prayers.

You can bag a two-pack of boys non-iron shirts starting from £9.

At the most you're looking at paying around £15 depending on the size you want.

The boys trousers come in a little bit more expensive than other brands, but there's a good reason why.

As well as being designed with stain and weatherproof technology, the trousers also have a crease resistant finish.

You can pick up a pack of two for between £11 and £17.

Morrisons

This is the place to go if you want to pick up some cheap accessories and stationary as there's currently a good sale on .

There are offers on a range of items including pens, notebooks and rucksacks.

Some good buys include a panda ruck sake coming in at £6.30, a file set coming in at £5.40 and a pack of 10 pens coming in at £2.
