The Bachelorette star Jillian Harris has finally tied the knot with her longtime partner Justin Pasutto, after being together for 13 years. The couple held two wedding ceremonies in August 2024, marking the end of a long engagement that began in December 2016. Harris and Pasutto share two children together a 9-year-old son, Leo, and a 6-year-old daughter, Annie.
The couple’s journey to marriage was not without its challenges. They faced multiple delays due to COVID-19, wildfires that damaged their property, and several planning changes over the years. Harris and Pasutto originally planned a summer 2020 wedding but had to postpone due to the pandemic. They later considered having their wedding in Europe before ultimately deciding to marry at their own lakeside property in West Kelowna, British Columbia.
“After eight years of planning, we’ve decided to really go for it!” Harris told People magazine. She described the wedding as “an actual fairy-tale dream come true” and expressed happiness that they waited so long to plan the day they had always dreamed of. The couple’s wedding planning journey reflects the patience and dedication that many Bachelor Nation couples have shown in building lasting relationships.
Wedding details and celebration highlights
Harris and Pasutto celebrated their union with two separate ceremonies. The first was an intimate church service on August 21, 2024, at the same church where Pasutto’s parents had married. This traditional ceremony featured a customized liturgy to make it meaningful for both partners, especially important since Pasutto is Catholic while Harris is not.

Two days later, on August 23, they held their main celebration – a “flower farm” themed wedding on their lakeside property with 176 guests. The theme was described as “timeless, elegant, and luxurious” with lots of color, including whites, pinks, corals, blushes, light blues, purples, and yellows. Harris wore five different dresses throughout the four-day celebration, including one she had purchased seven years earlier but initially thought she no longer loved.
The wedding festivities also included an Italian-themed rehearsal dinner to honor Pasutto’s heritage. Guests enjoyed pizza, pasta, gelato, and Italian wines. The couple’s children played important roles in the celebration, with daughter Annie wearing a replica of Harris’s wedding dress in baby blue. Their first dance was to Taylor Swift’s “Lover,” starting alone before their children and then all the guests joined them on the dance floor. The celebration showcased the kind of memorable Bachelor Nation moments that fans have come to love from the franchise.
