The Bachelor UK may have ended with an intense finale on Thursday night, but winner Alicia Oates has hinted that her romance with Alex Marks is already over.
After two-weeks of watching Alex flirt with girls before booting them from the process, viewers were misty-eyed as the fitness fanatic declared his love for 25-year-old Alicia in the final ring ceremony.
But the events co-ordinator has hinted that her romance with Alex, 31, might already be over after appearing to call him a “t***” in a now-deleted tweet.
Replying to a tweet from a fan branding him a “grade A t***”, Alicia allegedly replied “he IS a Grade A t***” before swiftly deleting her post.
Standard Online has contacted representatives for Alicia for comment.
The popular US series made a comeback on British screens earlier this month, with Mark Wright as host and confidant to Alex.
Over the 10 episodes, Alex got to know each of the 17 single ladies, sending home those he didn’t hit it off with and dating those he did.
Before the show began, Alex revealed that he wanted to find the “love of his life” and somebody to start a family with, inspired by his own close home life.
In the final it came down to Alicia and 36-year-old Charlotte. But it was Alicia who Alex revealed he had “fallen in love with”.
During the beach ceremony, he told her: “Your spirit is infectious. We giggle and laugh and that’s something that you know that I want.
“I’ve followed my heart and, Alicia, I’ve fallen in love with you.”
