Tottenham Hotspur are off to a winning start in the Premier League.
Spurs came out as 3-1 winners over newly promoted Aston Villa, coming from behind to claim their first three points in the Premier League.
Things weren't going to plan for Mauricio Pochettino's men as Villa took an unexpected 1-0 lead, and Dean Smith's resistant team were proving difficult to break down, that was until new signing Tanguy Ndombele made an instant mark by scoring from just outside the box on his debut to draw level in the 73rd minute.
Harry Kane then did what he does best, his two goals in the 86th and 90th minute ensured that the three points belonged to Spurs.
The England man has been known to struggle in the early part of the season, in fact, the 26-year-old has previously scored just two goal in the month of August, with both of them coming last season.
Now the striker has already doubled his tally for the month, in just the first game of the new season.
Kane missed the last few months of last season due to injury, only making his comeback for the Champions League final defeat against Liverpool.
Spurs fans will be hoping that the striker has started as he means to go on, with the 'August curse' now well and truly behind him.
