The Atlanta Falcons left Julio Jones out of their schedule graphic amid trade rumors

The Atlanta Falcons are coming off a dismal 2020 season that resulted in an entirely new regime coming in with Arthur Smith and Terry Fontenot at the helm. But in those past few months, it’s been impossible to ignore the dire salary cap situation the Falcons are dealing with.

It’s so bad that the Falcons may be forced to trade star wide receiver Julio Jones.

Well, those who wanted to dismiss the Julio trade rumors as an alarmist overreaction may want to take a look at the Falcons’ schedule release graphic from Wednesday night.

Someone seemed to be missing from the photo. Any guesses?

The Falcons tweeted a “New season, new wallpapers” graphic that included players like Matt Ryan, Onside Kick God Younghoe Koo and A.J. Terrell. The graphic did not include one of the best receivers to ever play the game.

Let’s just say that fans noticed the omission.

As easy as it is to read into a social media graphic, the decision to leave Julio off had to be deliberate. It’s not a great sign for Falcons fans.
