It's art, but with a twist. Cubeworks, a Toronto collective, has recreated more than 40 well-known artworks and celebrity portraits with Rubik's cubes. Artist Josh Chalom pixelates each image by hand, then employs 29 "cubers" to twist each cube (bulk-ordered plastic versions from China) into the right position. Their next job is a 255,000-cube rendering of the Sistine chapel.
