The Arsenal youngsters to watch out for against Nottingham Forest tonight

Standard Sport's Arsenal reporter Simon Collings runs the rule over three of the club's rising stars set to feature in the League Cup against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.

Bukayo Saka

The 18-year-old (above) announced his arrival last week by scoring against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League and followed it up by making his first Premier League start on Sunday, against Aston Villa. Offers something different, in that he is left-footed and can play as a winger, providing Arsenal with the width they often lack.

The midfielder, 20, has been Arsenal’s top-performing youngster this season and is pushing for more chances. His development stalled a few years ago due to a growth spurt, but has matured into a dynamic player. Can offer drive and pace from midfield, which Arsenal have lacked since Aaron Ramsey left.

Has long been tipped for a big future at Arsenal and this could be the season the 19-year-old (above) starts to deliver. The forward was impressive on loan at Hoffenheim last term and will want to recreate that form in England. Is most dangerous when deployed on the left and cutting in, given his eye for goal.
