The Arsenal statistic which is worrying news for Mauricio Pochettino and Tottenham

Mauricio Pochettino’s record at Tottenham is now only marginally better than that of Unai Emery’s at Arsenal.

Spurs have won 379 points from a possible 594 in the league while Pochettino has been at the club. That works out as 64% of the available points.

Only Jürgen Klopp (71%) and Pep Guardiola (80%) have better records in their current roles than that.

Unai Emery’s record at Arsenal is only marginally worse than Pochettino’s.

The Gunners have won 85 out of a possible 138 while Emery has been in charge. That works out as 62% of the available points, which is the fourth best record in the division.

Spurs have only won 59% of points since Emery took charge of Arsenal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær has one of the worst records in the division. Manchester United have picked up just 17 points in the league since Solskjær was made the permanent boss back in March.

That's just over a third (35%) of the league points available to them in that time.

Only Steve Bruce (33% of points) and Quique Sánchez Flores (17%) have picked up a smaller share of the available points in their current jobs.

Solskjær’s record isn’t as bad, however, if you include when he was caretaker manager at Old Trafford. The Norwegian has won 56% of the available points since he first sat in the dugout in December 2018.

That’s the same record as Dean Smith at Aston Villa, and just behind Brendan Rodgers at Leicester (57%) and Frank Lampard at Chelsea (58%).
