It's not long until the January transfer market is open for business, and the rumours around the Emirates Stadium are already starting to hot up.
After what was seen to be a successful window in the summer, Arsenal have had a poor start to the season, and the club may look to make additions during the winter window to hope to turn their season around and push for the Premier League top four.
But should Emery add to his squad, as expected, what shirt numbers would be going for the new additions? There's a few that could be taken by new recruits:
The number four shirt was previously owned by Mohamed Elneny, before he left on a season long loan to Turkish side Besiktas during the summer, leaving the number vacant.
Another player who left in the summer was previous captain Laurent Koscielny, who joined Ligue 1 side Bordeaux, meaning that the number six shirt can be snapped up by any new arrivals.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan is a third player who left during the summer, meaning that his number seven shirt is up for grabs. The Armenian is on a season long loan at Serie A side AS Roma.
Other shirt numbers also available are:
12 - Previously occupied by Stephan Lichsteiner
13 - Previously occupied by David Ospina
17 - Previously occupied by Alex Iwobi
18 - Previously occupied by Nacho Monreal
22 - Previosuly occupied by Denis Suarez
30 - Previusly occupied by Ainsley Maitland-Niles
Shirt numbers 36 and above are also available to new recruits, with one exception. The number 77 shirt, which is worn by academy graduate Bukayo Saka.
