The Arsenal photo that signifies the start of a new era under Unai Emery, Raul Sanllehi and Edu

It's been a busy old transfer window for Arsenal as Unai Emery starts to put his own stamp on things at the Emirates Stadium.

Signings such as Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba, Dani Ceballos and Nicolas Pepe have added vital quality to the squad, while a number of high profile stars have also head for the exit door.

Alongside the likes of Petr Cech, Danny Welbeck and Laurent Koscielny, a number of players tipped to be the next generation of Gunners have also moved on.

In fact, it seems like the final member of that group could be about to head for the exit door.

A picture has emerged on social media of Arsenal's first team group photo from the 2012-13 season, with one fan pointing out a mindblowing statistic.

With Carl Jenkinson expected to leave north London for a move to Nottingham Forest, he'll be the last player remaining from the squad of seven years ago.

The photo contains former Arsenal stars such as Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey, Olivier Giroud and Jack Wilshere.

While all of these players were deemed to be good enough for the first team under Arsene Wenger, it's perhaps a big statement that Unai Emery has looked to remove the last remaining players from his squad in favour of a new approach.

After a fairly average season last term, it remains to be seen whether the new-look squad will have what it takes to better the record of Wenger's side.
