The Arsenal morning headlines as fans pray ahead of Man City clash, Kurzawa summer transfer

Here are your Arsenal morning headlines for Tuesday, 10th March.

Fans pray ahead of Man City clash

The sight of Kevin De Bruyne and Leroy Sane in Manchester City training on Monday has prompted one supporter in particular to pray for the best ahead of the Gunners' trip to the Etihad Stadium.

Sane is yet to feature in the Premier League this season because of a knee injury, while De Bruyne has missed the last two games with a shoulder problem.

But both have been in full training and it's likely that at least one will feature against the Gunners.

This has prompted a huge reaction on social media. Take a look at what was said below...

FA Cup quarter-final date confirmed

For the first time this season, Arsenal won't be playing on a Monday night in the FA Cup.

The Gunners have already overcome Leeds United, Bournemouth and Portsmouth to reach the quarter-final stage and the familiarity about those ties is that they were played on the same day of the week.

There had been fears that another Monday night game was on the horizon after being drawn against fellow Premier League outfit Sheffield United in the next round.

But that's not the case.

Arsenal have confirmed that their FA Cup quarter-final against Sheffield United will be played on March 22 (Sunday) at 1:30pm.

The game will be broadcast live on BT Sport.

Layvin Kurzawa to Arsenal?

Arsenal are reportedly ready to make a move for Layvin Kurzawa this summer.

The Paris Saint-Germain left-back was linked to the Gunners in the January transfer window, with football.london  confirming that talks had indeed taken place.

But the Frenchman ended up staying in the French capital.

Although, will he be there next season?

Well, according to France Football , the north London outfit are monitoring the Kurzawa's progress and would be willing to sign him as a free agent once the season ends.

In addition, the report states that Arsenal 'aren't letting go of the situation' and are still 'actively following the left-back.

Mari's transfer plan

Pablo Mari has said that he hopes to be an Arsenal player for "a lot of years".

The Spanish centre-back joined Arsenal from Flamengo in January with the club having the option to make the temporary deal permanent for a fee believed to be in the region of £8million.

And following two clean sheets in his first two appearances for the Gunners, the defender is hoping to win a permanent contract.

"I've learned a lot because when I was there I was young, now I am little bit older," Mari said. "I learned a lot in all the teams I have played. So I think it is different.

"I don't want to look back, I want to look forward. Now I am in a really good club and I want to continue here for a lot of years.

"I am so happy here. I am going to try and do my best until the end of the season. I hope also the club is happy with me and then we are going to find a good end for everybody."
