The Arsenal fans saying the same thing about Martinelli, Nketiah and Saka transfer values

The future looks bright under Mikel Arteta at Arsenal.

Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Eddie Nketiah were all in the starting lineup for the FA Cup clash with Portsmouth on Monday night.

Nelson grabbed two assists, with Nketiah notching one of the goals in a 2-0 win to see them through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Martinelli, meanwhile, has ten goals in all competitions this season.

Nketiah, Willock and Nelson are all 20 years old, with Martinelli and Saka just 18.

Add 22-year-old Ainsley Maitland-Niles and 20-year-old Matteo Guendouzi to the mix, as well as U23 star Folarin Balogun (18) and the Gunners have plenty of young stars to take the club to new heights in the coming years.

If they all continue to impress, however, they will need to work hard to keep hold of all of them.

Following the win over Portsmouth, transfermarkt.com posted a graphic on their social media pages about the five youngsters' and their goal output, which revealed the quintet were responsible for 31% of the Gunners' goals this season so far.

That is something to praise, but alongside each player was the website's market value of the players.

As you can see, Martinelli and Willock are valued at £16.2millilon, with Nelson £12.6million, Saka at £11.7million and Nketiah way down at £7.2million.

And that cause anger among the Arsenal supporters on Reddit .

Posting the graphic with the values in euros, there was a common theme in the response to the valuations.

ByaruJM posted: "Market Value is an abomination," with 2ndfastestmanalive replying: "No way would we sell any of those players for the quoted fees right now."

User mindebris said: "They’re all missing a trailing zero," which was echoed by reciprocal_space who said: "They forgot to put the zeros on the end of Martinelli and Saka's value."

oddjob33 said: "Those market values are all missing a zero at the end."

Another user then offered their valuations of the players, saying: "They're each worth at least 30Mil atm. Martinelli would be 50Mil easily."

And two users got annoyed with Saka's price tag, given his form of late not just in the FA Cup but in the Premier League too.

"Not a chance Saka is worth 13m euros," and "Sakas value looooool no chance," were the responses.
