The Argie Bhaji curry battle is coming back to Newcastle and entry is free

If you like your curries, you can be in poppadom paradise when a huge curry battle returns to Newcastle later this year.

Having tickled tastebuds over the past few years, Argie Bhaji is back for its fourth instalment at Wylam Brewery in Exhibition Park with another nine companies going into battle and competing for your votes.

Following on from the previous battle format, organisers are inviting vendors to put their curry offering up against popular consumption, review, and judging.

They will be invited from across the region and beyond, adhering to the £3 per portion mini offering, and of course with the objective of foodies trying them all.

A ‘double token’ offering has also been to this years battle.

Vendors will be teased over the next month and there is no need to buy a ticket as entry to the two day event on November 1 and 2 is completely free.

It will run from 5pm on the Friday and from midday on the Saturday.

Food will be served until 10pm with a disco until late.
