The biggest Covid-19 hotspots in Bury have been revealed with cases rising in most neighbourhoods.
The five areas where the highest infection rates are being recorded up to December 7 are in Higher Woodhill, Bank Top and Radcliffe East, Ramsbottom, Kirkhams and Holyrood and Walshaw and Woolfold.
Conversely the neighbourhoods in Bury have seen the lowest rates in the borough are Sedgeley Park, Ainsworth and Bradley Fold, Redvales and Hollins, Buckley Wells and Fishpool and Whitehead Park.

Infection rates in the most areas of the borough rose for the week to December 7.
New data from the UK Health Security Agency has also revealed that there have been 12 confirmed or suspected cases of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 since reporting on the new strain began last month.
The figures include three suspected cases in the week up to December 6.
Coronavirus ‘hotspots’ and ‘notspots’ can be revealed via an interactive map charting the number of positive Covid-19 test results in each neighbourhood across the country using government data.
It shows the number of infections per local area, broken down into neighbourhoods containing roughly 7,000 people.
The number of new cases is then used to calculate the infection rate per 100,000 people.
The highest infection rate was in Higher Woodhill where the rate was 788, with 45 new positive cases.
This was an increase of four, a 10 per cent rise from the previous week.
Next is Bank Top and Radcliffe East where the rate was 683 per 100,000 people, with 41 positive cases of the virus recorded in that week.
In third place is Ramsbottom, where there were 57 cases, equalling a rate of 647, with cases riding 27 per cent in that week.
In the ‘notspots’ list, the area of Sedgeley Park showed the lowest rate of infection.
It saw 19 cases, equalling a rate of 196 in the week to December 7.
Next is Ainsworth and Bradley Fold where the rate was 322 with only 19 incidences of the virus recorded.
Redvales and Hollins follows with 25 cases and a rate of 377 per 100,000 people.
Bury’s vaccination are set to ramp up their coverage after the announcement of an acceleration in the vaccination programme.
Health authorities nationwide have been asked to step up capacity further and see those aged 18+ who have had their second vaccination more than three months ago.
