The parts of Cardiff where the most crimes are committed have been revealed.
Police forces across the UK publish data showing the numbers and types of crimes reported in each area - including South Wales Police.
According to this data, which covers between March 2020 to March 2021, there were 54,432 crimes reported in Cardiff. Of this, 4,531 occurred in March this year, the most recently available data.
These crimes range from anti-social behaviour and theft to violence and sexual offences.
In March 2021, Cathays, the area which covers the whole city centre, had the most offences with 692 crimes.
The most frequently reported offence there was anti-social behaviour, with 420 offences in the month.
In the same period, Pentyrch had the least offences, with just 11 offences.
