One area in the Bristol region has one of the highest Covid rates in the country, the latest figures show.
Bath and North East Somerset currently has a rate of 633.7 per 100,000 population - ranking it the fourth highest in the UK. Today (November 1), this area reported 166 new positive lab tests.
According to data, 569 per 100,000 people in Bristol tested positive for Covid-19 in the seven-day period leading up to October 27.

The latest Government data shows that 262 new cases and one Covid death were confirmed today in Bristol.
South Gloucestershire recorded a further 218 cases, and North Somerset reported 161.
The government has a coronavirus heat map, which measures the case rate across the country per 100,000.
The rolling rate is found by calculating the amount of cases in the last seven days divided by the amount of people living in the area. Then that figure is multiplied by 100,000.
