The Apprentice star leaves BBC bosses furious after bragging they're in final

A star in the upcoming series of The Apprentice might have breached their contract by blabbing to pals that they make it to the final.

The unnamed candidate has producers struggling to contain the spread of the individual's identity, as all the filming for the series has already been completed.

TV sources told The Sun that re-shooting the series would be "virtually impossible and incredibly costly", especially as the final is a way away in December.

Containing it on social media would also be a mighty task.

A source revealed to The Sun on Sunday : "This is a worst nightmare for bosses as they try and build suspense before the first show airs on Wednesday.

"The contestant has seriously annoyed a lot of people by not keeping this to themselves. You would have thought this will be weighing heavily on Lord Sugar's mind when he ultimately decided who's hired in the final."

The 15th series of the Apprentice kicks off on Wednesday with 16 contestants battling it out for a quarter of a million pound investment in their business.

Lord Sugar's right-hand woman Baroness Karen Brady recently dished on how exhausted all the contestants are after taking on the rigorous business tasks.

Baroness Brady revealed why the contestants are sometimes unable to enjoy the rewards for winning tasks.

She said: "It's because they're all knackered. The treat they really want is an early night."

Meanwhile, the notoriously harsh Claude Littner, who's set to return as well, reckons this year's batch might be some of the most irritating yet.

He said: "There are some very annoying people. Sometimes they become annoying, sometimes they're annoying right from week one.

"This year you've got some irritating characters from week one. Maybe I'm getting old and can't take too much nonsense."

Lord Sugar himself is trying to reign in the anger this year, as he's said he's "trying to teach myself to count to five before reacting."
