The Apprentice final 2018: Fans delighted as Sian Gabbidon wins Lord Sugar's investment

The Apprentice fans were left jumping for joy after Sian Gabbidon was hired by Lord Sugar in Sunday’s final.

The swimsuit designer, and brand owner, landed the £250,000 investment after beating Camilla Ainsworth in a closely-fought final.

And fans were elated with Lord Sugar’s choice, especially after he admitted the market was “crowded”, and rushed to congratulate the businesswoman.

One wrote: "Oh this made me so happy inside. Good girl Sian #TheApprentice."

Another said: "YESSSSSSS ALAN!!!!!!!!!!! #TheApprentice yesss Sian!!!!!! Omg so happy for her!!!"

"Yes sian!!! Really good choice Lord sugar!!! :D #TheApprentice really good series again. Have to wait a year now until next year's," commented somebody else.

In the final boardroom, Lord Sugar said: “Sian, it’s a crowded market – that’s a big, big concern for me, but you are an expert in your field, and you are a good designer, there’s no question of that.

“I think that yours is a growing market [Camilla], and yours is a massive market [Sian], it’s very tough for me to make a decision.

“But on reflection, Sian, you have a great aptitude and a talent for design – you’re going to be my business partner.”

After being named winner, Gabbidon, 26, gushed over how the “possibilities were endless” now she had the Amstrad mogul’s hand in business.

She said: “I’m just absolutely over the moon that I’ve won this investment and I’m going to be working with Lord Sugar.

“I love what I do, I love fashion, and he’s all about business - so to put us together is just going to be ridiculous, the possibilities are endless.”

The Apprentice will return to BBC One next year.
