The contestants have not yet been announced but what we do know is that there will be a new face on the judging panel. Former winner Tim Campbell will be joining as one of Lord Sugar's aides. He will be standing in for Claude Littner who had to pull out after injuring himself in a cycling accident.
They will once again be joined by Baroness Karren Brady with Lord Sugar saying: "My former winner Tim Campbell will step into Claude’s seat and be my eyes and ears as the candidates face a tough set of business challenges in the upcoming series."
Meanwhile comedian Tom Allen returns as host of The Apprentice: You’re Fired airing on BBC Two straight after the main show.
It was Carina Lepore who was crowned the last winner of The Apprentice in 2019, securing investment in her artisan bakehouse.
While not much is known about the contestants in this series Baroness Brady has said: “They’re hugely ambitious and self-confident but we soon find how that goes. They have very different backgrounds, very different business perspectives, and very different life experiences. It’s a really good mix.”

And we do know a little bit about what they will be asked to do in the first two episodes.
In the opening show on Thursday this year's 16 candidates set sail from Portsmouth with their first task being to come up with marketing campaigns for a new cruise liner.
And in the second episode the remaining candidates will the teams will be asked to design an electric toothbrush aimed at children aged between six and eight as well as an accompanying app that encourages them to brush their teeth.
Baroness Brady has also revealed that the team go to Wales to put together a Welsh tourism campaign and that show involves lots of zip wires and steam trains.
The BBC has said: “The candidates are thrown into the world of children’s oral care, there’s an adventurous brief to boost Welsh tourism, and the development of an original video game concept will take things up another level.
"The budding entrepreneurs will also find themselves in the spotlight as they sell live on TV, negotiate fishy waters in Cornwall, and navigate a racing-inspired corporate away day at Silverstone.”
