The Apprentice 2018: Jasmine Kundra fired by Lord Sugar after bad choices during art task

Jasmine Kundra has become the latest candidate to be fired from The Apprentice as the competition intensifies.

Kundra, 34, found herself on the wrong end of Lord Sugar’s firing finger after the week eight task saw the candidates turn their hands to curating and selling art.

But Lord Sugar scolded Kundra’s approach to the task, branding her “too corporate” and telling her to “take her own advice” in business.

Delivering the final blow, the business mogul told Kundra she had chosen the wrong products before he quoted her own motto back to her.

“You say all is fair in love and war and business is a war. You've lost this war, you're fired,” Lord Sugar said as Kundra left the room.

And the ousted candidate made it clear she wasn’t happy to be fired as she made a snide remark to Sabrina Stocker about her hug being “genuine” before begrudgingly shaking Tom Bunday’s hand.

Speaking from the taxi, Kundra vowed not to be disheartened and that Lord Sugar was still her “hero”.

Kundra said: “It has been the most incredible experience.

“Lord Sugar will continue to be my business hero and I will really regret not having that opportunity to work with him.”

The Apprentice continues Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One
