The AP Preseason College Basketball poll is out. Where is Ohio State?

As another reminder that college basketball season is just around the corner, the Associated Press released its 2019-2020 preseason college basketball poll on Monday, and Ohio State debuts just inside the top 20 at No. 18.

Fellow Big Ten colleague Michigan State is the preseason No. 1, and Maryland checks in at No. 7. Those are the only two Big Ten teams in the top ten, and the only conference teams ahead of the Buckeyes in the preseason rankings.

As an interesting side note, Louisville — who Ohio State just reportedly beat in a closed door scrimmage Sunday — appears at No. 5 in the poll. Read into that what you will. The rest of the top five has Kentucky at No. 2, Kansas at No. 3, and Duke at No. 4.

The complete AP top 25 looks as follows:

1. Michigan State
2. Kentucky
3. Kansas
4. Duke
5. Louisville
6. Florida
7. Maryland
8. Gonzaga
9. North Carolina
10. Villanova
11. Virginia
12. Seton Hall
13. Texas Tech
14. Memphis
15. Oregon
16. Baylor
17. Utah State
18. Ohio State
19. Xavier
20. St. Mary’s
21. Arizona
22. LSU
23. Purdue
24. Auburn
25. Virginia Commonwealth

What do you think. Is this too high or too low. Maybe you’re like Goldilocks and thinks it’s just right?
