The annual pun-off challenge is coming back to Glasgow for its sixth year

Word-play masters, take note... Glasgow's ChampiPUNship is back for another year.

Hosted by writer and performer Gary McNair, The sixth annual pun-off will see eight competitors battle it out over four rounds to be crowned the "pundisputed champipun of the word" at Oran Mor on Wednesday October 16.

But it's not all about the contestants: The PUNters are asked to get involved too. So, if you know any wordsmiths who reckon they've got what it takes in the quip stakes, make sure they know all about this pun-tastic PUNanza.

There will also be music from the west end bar's resident house band The Pun Lovin Criminals who’ll play the hits of The Randy Newman League, Sigur Bros, The Lionel King Ritchie and many more...
