It's not strictly entertainment-related, all things considered, but Lost in Showbiz is hereby instituting a new feature: the animals of the credit crunch.
At present, I am unable to lay my hands on the Daily Mail's moving piece about a middle class pony – aren't they all? - who might have to downgrade the quality of its oats due to the global economic crisis. But you are hereby invited to peruse today's thoughtful double page Sun feature entitled "Real victims of the credit crunch", in which we learn that "the Staffordshire bull terrier is surviving particularly badly in the financial crisis".
Further examples of commendable focus from her Majesty's Press are welcomed.
