The Angels’ Jo Adell had the classiest response to accidentally knocking over an Orioles fan’s drink

It’s always great to see when professional athletes realize just how far the simplest acts of kindness can go when it comes to making impacts on fans.

And there’s no denying that Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell truly gets that. He proved it on Wednesday night.

At some point between innings of the game between the Angels and Orioles — where the Orioles ended a 19-game losing streak — Adell tossed a ball into the stands at Camden Yards. That ball, though, apparently knocked a drink out of the hands of a young Orioles fan.

Adell easily could have been like, “Oh, well, I tried to be nice.” And returned to the dugout without a second thought. But that wasn’t something the Angels outfielder was going to do. Instead, he returned to that spot later in the game with an autographed bat for the young fan.

That’s just awesome.

Adell also posed for a photo with the Orioles fan who would later share the pics on Twitter.

Those are the moments you love to see at the ballpark.
