The Amad moment vs Real Sociedad that sent Manchester United fans wild

Manchester United fans were impressed by Amad's cameo against Real Sociedad and particularly enjoyed his mazy dribble down the left flank.

United fans were given a glimpse of the future after January signing Amad was handed his much-awaited first-team debut in Turin. The 18-year-old, who arrived at Old Trafford from Atalanta for an initial £19million fee that could rise to £37million with add-ons, made his first appearance for the club against the Spanish side.

Amad came off the bench to replace Mason Greenwood in a match that United won 4-0 courtesy of a Bruno Fernandes brace and goals from Marcus Rashford and Daniel James.

Operating from the left-hand side in Turin, the Ivorian got fans talking with several neat touches, dribbles and one eye-catching take on deep in his own half/

That eye-catching moment which saw him beat two players and win a free-kick was noticed by United fans, who raved over the teenager's ability to beat players in a confined space.

It was an impressive showing from the January signing which also led to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitting he is getting 'closer and closer' to making his first start.

"He's getting closer and closer to his minutes by the day," Solskjaer told BT Sport. "That is why we felt towards the end when we were 3-0 up to go and let him enjoy his first 10 minutes for the club."
