The alternative table that proves Unai Emery's Arsenal are feared by Premier League opponents

An alternative Premier League table has been released, and Arsenal sit at the top.

The Gunners are the most fouled team in the division, being on the end of an average of 12 fouls per Premier League game - over four more than title chasers Manchester City.

'Supercomputer' predicts final Premier League standings - and it is fantastic news for Arsenal

Maurizio Sarri's Chelsea are in third place on the list, with an average of 11.3 fouls suffered per game, while Tottenham are down in 13th place, having being fouled an average of 9.5 times.

Perhaps surprisingly, the team who comes out at the bottom of the table are Pep Guardiola's Manchester City. The 2018 Premier League champions are fouled an average of just 7.9 times per game, which is perhaps testament to the way that the Spaniard's team plays.

Bournemouth are the team in second place, behind Arsenal in the most fouled table, while title challengers Liverpool are down in 17th position. Ole Gunnar Solskjær's Manchester United are in fifth, one place above West Ham United.

Crystal Palace and Fulham are both sitting in mid-table, in ninth and 15th place respectively.

The table has been revealed a few days after the release of the Premier League fair play table. As reported by football.london , it was an alternative table where Arsenal didn't fair too kindly, appearing in 17th place. Spurs faired better in fourth while Chelsea have been the best behaved of the London teams, finishing in third place.
