Five games into the new Championship season, a picture is starting to take shape for the campaign ahead.
While some have come out of the blocks flying, others have struggled to find their feet this term - although there is still a long, long way remaining this term and a lot of football to be played.
However, an even bigger picture can be painted by looking into the form of each club this calendar year - and it’s great news for Swansea City, West Brom, Bristol City and Leeds United.
The quartet have been in a fine run of form since the turn of the year, with Brentford, Sheffield Wednesday and Preston also having plenty of reason to be confident.
The Robins have taken 46 of a possible 78 points available and lost just seven times since January 1, fuelled by the stunning eight-game win streak in all competitions, at the start of the year and bright opening to this campaign.
At the other end of the spectrum, Stoke City and QPR have real reasons to be concerned, while Birmingham City’s decent start to the new campaign has managed to wipe away some of the cobwebs from last season.
