The alternative Championship table that has Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United in the top three

There's no doubt about it, the Championship is one of the most well-supported second tiers in the world.

Thousands of fans pack into grounds across the country to cheer on their team - but who has the highest average attendance?

According to Football Web Pages, Aston Villa's sell out against Bristol City have put them back on top of the table, with an average of 35,575.

Next up is Leeds, followed by Nottingham Forest and Derby County.

The Robins are sat in mid-table, coming 12th with 20,760.
