The alternative Championship attendance table that has Bristol City seventh and neither Leeds United nor Nottingham Forest top

Judging which Championship club has the best set of supporters is always a hot topic of debate.

England's second-tier is filled with thousands of passionate fans who follow their team up and down the country, week in, week out.

Given how many fallen giants now reside in the Championship, there is some healthy competitions amongst the former greats as to which club has the best fan base.

There will never be any clear way of defining which set of fans are the best but with help from Transfermarkt, there's a clear way to see which set of home supporters have trumped the rest this season.

Statistics from the six Championship fixtures of the season have worked out which clubs are the best at filling their stadium.
