The Alfredo Morelos Rangers chat Steven Gerrard must have as Ibrox legend highlights key concern

Rangers hero Peter Lovenkrands admits he's still concerned about Alfredo Morelos ' in the wake of Saturday's clash with Celtic.

The striker was shown five red cards in the 2018-19 campaign, and was sent off twice last season too.

Though El Bufalo has improved that side of his game the Rangers star still has the potential to lose his cool in the face of provocation.

And Lovenkrands says manager Steven Gerrard will have to have a word with Morelos to avoid any future flare-ups.

Lovenkrands told Sky Sports News : "He gets involved in these silly things.

"Scott Brown is playing a tactical game with him, he knows he can wind him up and I saw it early doors in the game.

"I was watching it and you could see Scott Brown nipping in his ear, always had a wee comment to make to try and wind him up, try and get in his head.

"He had a wee thing where he flips out and he hits him on his ear and these are things that he needs to get out of his game.

"He needs to start getting that away from him.

"For Steven Gerrard to worry about something like that is not good, because you see as soon as he got his yellow card Steven Gerrard took him off the pitch because he couldn't take the risk of him maybe getting into another thing and maybe getting a red card.

"So if I was the manager, if I was Steven Gerrard, I would definitely have another chat with him."
