The Aldi 'half hot, half cold’ bedroom bargain that couples love

A split duvet has attracted the attention of shoppers who struggle with the nightly problem of one person in a couple being too hot while the other is too cold.

Discount supermarket Aldi is stocking the Slumberdown 'Made For You Two' duvet that features a 4.5 tog cool side and warmer half that is 10.5 tog.

The simple design and cost of £19.99 has been commented on almost five thousand times and shared almost four hundred times.

Couples think this could be the solution to their sleeping conflicts and have been suggesting to partners that they pop into the shop and give it a go.

Some who already have the duvet say it's the best duvet they have ever bought.

More than one shopper said it was a worthwhile buy (Facebook)

Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK were the first to share the deal when they said: "Made For Two Double Duvet NOW £19.99"

One fan of the duvet commented: "Got this...best duvet I have ever had..."

"Mine arrived today can’t wait to use," said one half of a couple.

Another shopper was very impressed with the deal: "oh wow *slams card on table*"

This shopper got straight to the point and added it to her cart: "we need this ur always hot and I'm always cold"

Another added that she thought it would be useful if used a different way: "Ah but the warm part is for my feet and the cool part for the top half! It’s Not for couples it’s for cold feet!"

She wasn't the only shopper who thought the duvet also had potential for those who are single.

One person said: "I need the warm side just as I get into bed and then I can move over to the cooler side during the night! Perfect!"
