One London bar is making sure the weekend gets off to a good start by offering hundreds of drinks completely free of charge on Friday November 16.
The Alchemist will be giving away free cocktails to celebrate the launch of its new Covent Garden site.
The giveaway will take place from midday at the St Martins Lane venue and there will be 300 drinks available on a first come first served basis.
The bar — which specialises in unconventional drinks — will be offering its signature serve, the Lightbulb Moment, as a freebie. It includes Tanqueray gin, Pimm's, ginger beer, raspberry, lemon and mint and is served with dry ice pouring out the top.
It’s the second Alchemist site to launch in London, following the success of its first venue in Liverpool Street. The team also plan to open a third bar in Old Street next year.
Simon Potts, managing director of the Alchemist said: “We are hugely excited to be bringing the brand to Covent Garden.
