These days, we’re a lot more aware of toxic masculinity — but that doesn’t mean it’s stopped entirely. We’ve all seen those memes of ‘Kyles’ punching drywall, but the thing about memes is that they’re based in reality.
So, when an Airbnb guest decided to take their anger out on the wall, the host reacted in the funniest way possible.
In the clip, which has amassed 6.1 million views, the camera can be seen focused on a hole in the drywall, which looks as if a fist has gone through it. Surrounding the hole is a wooden frame with a label as if it’s an exhibit in an art gallery. The label reads: “‘Fragile Masculinity’, Artist Unknown, 2025.”
Accompanying the video is a caption that reads: “POV: The Airbnb host has a lot of humor.”

In response to this clip, many commenters saw the funny side.
“But why does it actually look good…” one wrote. “This is perfect!” another remarked, while a third emphasized that this “needs to be shared.”
“Why do I never want them to fix that?” a fourth asked. “That’s actual art because of the caption he gave it.” To which the original poster, Fredisha Mechelle (@brittneyvsdreka) replied: “Me either, it’s a master piece!”
This piece of modern art also spurred commenters to share some of their own experiences. “My bf literally repaired it without them knowing bc he was embarrassed to tell them he broke it,” one revealed.
“My ex’s mom showed me the fragile masculinity he left in her house,” another shared.
While a third added: “My sperm donor punched a hole in my bedroom wall during one of his mantrums when I was in like 5th or 6th grade…I stuck an old deer antler I found in it and hung my necklaces on it.”
This isn’t the first time Airbnb hosts have had their property damaged. In another viral TikTok, user Jenna Lee (@jennasyap) shared how her new puppy nearly destroyed the Airbnb host’s leather Restoration Hardware couch. Luckily, she was able to repair it. In another clip, a woman claimed the guests caused $100,000 worth of damage after flooding the house.
The Mary Sue reached out to the TikToker via TikTok comment. Airbnb didn’t immediately respond to The Mary Sue’s request for comment via email.
