They played the Hawkings in The Theory of Everything, but now Jones and Redmayne are back together for another dramatic true story.
Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne feature in the first trailer for upcoming drama The Aeronauts.
In a film from Wild Rose director Tom Harper, Jones and Redmayne play a real-life widow and scientist who must work together for survival.
The official synopsis reads: "Set in 1862 and inspired by true events, The Aeronauts follows wealthy young widow Amelia Wren (Jones) and headstrong scientist James Glaisher (Redmayne), as they mount a balloon expedition to fly higher than anyone in history. This is a journey to the very edge of existence, where the air is thin and the chances of survival are slim. As their perilous ascent reveals their true selves, this unlikely pair discover things about each other - and themselves - that helps each of them find their place in the world they have left behind."
The film was earlier announced as the Mayor of London’s Gala at the BFI London Film Festival 2019, where The Aeronauts will enjoy its European premiere on October 7, 2019.
The and features huge offerings such as Taika Waititi film JoJo Rabbit, Netflix historical drama The King, and Martin Scorsese film The Irishman.
The Aeronauts is released in cinemas across the UK and Ireland, and in IMAX venues, on November 6, 2019.
