The advice from Tesco Ireland on avoiding crowds and freezing queues in the coming weeks

Tesco is advising customers to shop in off-peak morning or evening times in order to avoid queuing.

With the weather getting colder people are less open to lining up outside shops.

This is of course necessary in order to follow social distancing guidelines inside stores.

And in their latest ad, Tesco Ireland suggests that shoppers should pick off-peak time in order to avoid long waits in the cold weather.

A spokesperson says: "Consider shopping at off peak times like in the morning or evening when you will be less likely to queue."

And if you aren't too sure about what times are busiest in your local store then don't worry, you can check them on google.

It's not too difficult, you will simply have to google the store where you shop so "Tesco, Waterford Road, Kilkenny" for example.

You will then be able to click on the store on google and you will be given the real time stats as outlined in the picture above.

From there you can check each day as well as how busy it is right now.
